もち米、もしくはもち米とうるち米を混ぜたものを蒸すか、炊いたご飯。もちもちとした食感が特徴。野菜や魚介類、肉類などの具材を入れたおこわもある。炊き込みご飯と見分けがつかないが、使用する米の種類が違う。

Steamed sticky rice

Sticky rice or a combination of sticky rice and short-grain white rice that is either cooked or steamed. Known for its sticky texture. Some may also have vegetables, seafood, and meat. It looks identical to seasoned rice with mixed ingredients but uses a different type of rice.
